A little something I wrote a while back disregard any spelling.

Yeah, that’s me.

Yeah, that’s me.
Hiding behind the shadows, of what we call life.
I can’t help but think of all the things I could become, of everything that could happen as the years go by.
I have seen the leaves change color for many years, 18 to be exact, but yet I don’t see what has changed in me. I still feel like that girl that would run barefoot through the grass, the concrete, even the sharp rocks at the beach. None of which felt diferent from another. You see, when you have had so much pain and have suffered so much there is nothing that could hurt you, well, barely anything.
Love: that terrible feeling that consumes your heart, I call it the heart attack. I don’t think of love as something that could heal nor fix your heart. Love isn’t medicine nor is it stitches nor oxygen! Love is poison, love can kill you in the blink of an eye or better yet in a heart beat. I don’t belive in “falling in love” the words say it all. FALLING that’s what you will do fall and be crushed and be hurt! Back to the subject of who I am. I am a girl who is willing to put anybody before her. I am the friend who will stick with you untill the end. But when all I see is that everyone is successful but me, the one person who believed in them. I’m done being nice and naive. I’m putting my guard up and I’m not letting anybody in to see what’s truly going on. I’ve hurt myself by saving you. It’s time to save myself and if you fall you fall. And that’s just who I am.
